Sifu Hepple (Sifu Level, 6th Dan) began his martial arts training at an early age. He tried Kickboxing and Taekwondo and various other martial arts but it wasn’t until he moved to Aberdeen and found Sifu Clark‘s Hung Ga Academy that his training really kicked off!
“From the moment I first walked into my Sifu’s Mo-Kwoon (school) I realised that I had found what I had been looking for. The level of knowledge and camaraderie amongst students was something I had never experienced before in other martial arts schools.”
In 2005 Sifu Hepple passed his Jo Gow (black belt.) In 2011 he opened his own kung fu school in Inverness and in 2021 attained the level of 6th Dan Sifu. In 2019 Sifu Hepple completed his first Bai Sai Ceremony (in the door discipleship). He was also sworn-in as the 2nd Vice-President of Yee’s Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association, European Headquarters. He is 6th generation from the legendary Chinese folk Hero Wong Fei Hung
“One of the great things that I love about Hung Ga is that there is always more to learn. When you learn something new, you can apply it to your existing knowledge. This can lead to new, exciting discoveries in your training. It is constantly evolving and changing. It never stagnates.”
