Public Classes

The following ‘in person’ classes are available to students at our school on Inverness High Street. If you are a new student, it is best to attend the Tuesday evening Form Class at 7.30-8.30pm for a free introductory class first.

Our Monday Kids Class at 6.30-7.30pm is for children interested in kung fu from the ages of 6-12 years old. If they wish, they may also stay for the Lion Dance Class afterwards.

The Lion Dance and Display Training is where students can prepare for public displays and demonstrations. The main focus of these classes is the traditional lion dance.

In the Form class on Tuesday evenings you will learn the forms (patterns) of Hung Ga. These are taught to each student in manageable sections which are built upon every week, provided the student has practised sufficiently. This is the best class for beginners to start with.

On Tuesday evenings our Qigong & Tai Chi Class is available for anyone, of all ages, interested in learning Tai Chi, Qigong and the principles involved in these extraordinary health practices. These classes are also broadcast ‘live’ from our school. You can join in from anywhere in the world at the same time. They are not included in our kung fu payment plans, however your first class is still free and it is only £5 per class thereafter or £30 for a block of 7 classes.

In the Drills & Techniques class, drills, applications techniques and fighting theory are taught.

There will also be an opportunity to learn extra knowledge, forms and skills through regular seminars and tests.
