How do I join?

“This all sounds pretty cool, but how do I join?”

The simple answer to this question is to come along to a class. Unless it is a 1-1 session, you don’t need to book in advance or arrange an induction or make any big announcements. All you need to do is make it, on time, to one of the classes. The best class to start with is the Beginner Form Classes on Tuesday evenings at 7.30-8.30pm. Kids Classes, for ages of 6 – 12 are welcome to come along to our kids class at 6.30-7.30pm on Mondays. They may also stay for the Lion Dance Class afterwards, if they wish. You will find a timetable with all the classes on it HERE. You’ll need to wear jogger bottoms and a t-shirt, or something similar, and a pair of trainers. The only thing that you will need to take with you is a drink to re-hydrate. You don’t even need to bring any money with you because your first class is free.

You don’t need to get fit before you come to these classes because you will get fit as you train and they are all geared towards complete beginners. You are not expected to be a master on your first visit so don’t worry about it if you can’t do everything in the class. So long as you try your best, then you’ll be fine. You won’t be sparring in your first class so you don’t need to worry about fighting.
