Kung fu for Health, Fitness and Wellness

Our tailored class program will help you achieve your fitness goals faster. You will also learn practical self defence skills too. If you’re looking to lose some weight you can, on average, burn 30% more calories in our kung fu classes than an activity such as running or jogging. Your body will actually continue to burn calories, even after you finish the class.

As well as improving your physical body, kung fu and qigong are both excellent for improving your mental health and wellbeing. They focus on developing the mind/body connection, whilst regulating your breathing at the same time. Establishing a firm connection with these three pillars (mind, body and breath) can have a profound effect on your frame of mind. There are huge benefits such as relieving stress, improved focus, emotional stability, overcoming aggression and negative behaviour, to name just a few.

You can attend our school or do the classes from home at a time that suits you. You won’t need any fancy gym equipment and the amount of space that you will need is minimal. You won’t be tied to any lengthy membership or direct debit scheme either. If you want more, we’re happy to give you more. If not, we won’t hound you with unwanted emails.
